Huf Festiger Hoof Strengthener is ideal for horses with cracked and brittle hooves, low heels, loose hoof horn and unshod hooves. It strengthens the hoof wall and sole, helps ensure a secure fit for horseshoes, protects against hoof wear and increases hoof resistance.

No harmful chemicals! Free from glutaraldehyde.

Active ingredients:

• Biotin: A water-soluble B vitamin known for supporting healthy skin and coat. Helps strengthen the hoof horn and supports healthy growth.

• Coconut oil: Has protective and nourishing properties and helps moisturise the skin and hoof horn.

• Linseed oil: Rich in vitamins, minerals and unsaturated fatty acids. Helps stabilise the hoof by forming natural polymers and is beneficial for cracked and dry hoof horn.

• Horse chestnut: A source of tannins that bind keratin in the hoof. Helps strengthen and stabilise the hoof horn.

• Sunflower oil: Has soothing and moisturising properties while helping strengthen the natural protective barrier. Nourishes and moisturises the hoof and helps keep it supple.

• Oak bark tannins: A source of tannins obtained from oak bark that bind keratin in the hoof and help provide greater strength. The tannins help bind dead layers of hoof horn together and strengthen the hoof.

• Wintergreen oil: Supports blood circulation, regeneration and soothing. Helps increase hoof resistance.

Free from glutaraldehyde. Contains no mineral oils.

Directions for use: Apply three times a week. Once the hoof has strengthened, reduce application to once a week. Apply to the clean, dry hoof wall. If necessary, also apply to the sole. Do not apply to the coronary band, frog or sensitive hoof structures. For shod horses, apply up to the nail holes. For unshod horses, also apply to the bearing edge and white line.
