Cortaflex® HA Regular Liquid is designed to provide nutritional support for healthy joints in horses and ponies in light to moderate work or for older horses needing a little extra mobility support.

Cortaflex® HA Regular Liquid is a proven blend of key compounds with low sugar content, making it suitable for horses and ponies prone to laminitis. It contains collagen, hyaluronic acid, trace elements, and amino acids that provide essential nutritional support for maintaining healthy cartilage and joint fluid.
Cartilage is a spongy, elastic material that covers the ends of bones in joints, acting as the main shock absorber and helping reduce friction. Synovial fluid should be thick and viscous to bathe and lubricate the joint and to act as a vital shock absorber.

Key Ingredients:

• Collagen – one of the body’s most abundant proteins, providing structure, strength, and elasticity to cartilage. Sourced sustainably from marine collagen.

• Hyaluronic Acid – a glycosaminoglycan (GAG) that maintains synovial fluid viscosity, lubricates cartilage, and acts as a shock absorber.

• Amino Acids – provide the nutritional building blocks for aminosaccharide production. Glucosamine is one such subunit used in the formation of GAGs, which strengthen and stabilize cartilage by binding to collagen.

• MSM (Methylsulfonylmethane) – a natural, bioavailable source of sulfur, essential for bonding compounds in cartilage and supporting the horse’s natural anti-inflammatory processes.

• Trace Minerals – including manganese, silicon, and copper, which are crucial in forming structural compounds such as chondroitin, collagen, and hyaluronic acid, and play a role in antioxidant production.
