Product detailed description

KERALIT Undercover is a specialised maintenance paste designed to prevent decomposition processes in the white line, frog, sole, hoof wall and cavities. It is particularly suitable for horses kept in open stables or damp environments.

Wherever applied, it creates a stable, decay-inhibiting environment that supports hoof health throughout the entire shoeing period. Especially recommended for orthopaedic shoeing with hoof inserts and silicone pads.

Suitable for use by farriers, hoof trimmers and horse owners.

Application (farriers/hoof trimmers):
After removing loose and affected horn material, fill the resulting cavities with KERALIT Undercover. When using pads and silicone, apply a thin layer to the sole and frog. Continue shoeing as usual.

Application (owners):
Can be easily applied to the frog and white line defects. Clean the grooves thoroughly before application. Press the paste deeply into cavities using a spatula or glove. Application 1–2 times per week is sufficient, as the paste remains in place for several days.
