KERALIT Keralysin Ointment is designed to gently soften and loosen scabs, crusts and hardened skin layers. In cases of mallenders, eczema or older skin injuries, scabs often adhere firmly to the skin and hair, making treatment of the affected area more difficult.

The fine oils in the ointment penetrate the scab layers, soften them and help loosen them so they can be gently removed without mechanical irritation or injury to the skin – often after just one overnight application. This allows additionally prescribed disinfectants or medications to work more effectively.

It is especially useful for Friesians and other horses with long hair in the fetlock area, as clipping the coat before treatment is not necessary.
