The original liquid formula contains a unique blend of herbs and natural oils that helps soothe sore, overworked muscles and stiff joints and provides relief from tendon inflammation and arthritis. It acts quickly and provides long-lasting relief. For more than 120 years, Absorbine Veterinary Liniment has been one of the world’s best-selling liniments for horses.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

Legs and joints:
Gently massage the product into the areas where needed. For a faster effect, soak a sponge in very warm water, wring it out and apply it to the treated area so that the warmth helps open the skin pores. Repeat for 10 minutes, then wipe the area dry and apply a generous amount of Absorbine® Veterinary Liniment. Repeat as needed.

Back, loin and shoulders:
Gently massage a sufficient amount of the product into the areas being treated. Before application, the skin can first be warmed with a towel soaked in warm water to help open the pores. Then wipe the coat dry and apply the product. Keep the horse warm and protect it from draughts. Repeat as needed.

Bathing:
Ideal after exercise: mix 110 ml of Absorbine Veterinary Liniment, 220 ml of vinegar and 670 ml of water. Wash the horse with the solution. The bath has a cooling and refreshing effect.

Warm-up:
Massaging the product into the muscles helps increase circulation, warms the muscles and helps reduce the risk of strain or injury during exercise.

After exercise:
Massage into tired muscles and tendons. Supporting circulation helps promote the removal of metabolic waste products and encourages faster recovery.

Skin care:
Helps soothe itching associated with bacterial infections, including secondary bacterial infections. Apply to affected areas three times a week. Do not apply to irritated or injured skin.

WARNING:
Caution: Flammable! May cause an allergic reaction – contains chloroxylenol. Use only as directed and for external use only. Do not use on irritated skin. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. In case of contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly with running water and seek medical advice. Repeated excessive use may cause dryness and cracking of the skin. Use in well-ventilated areas. Do not inhale vapours. Contains acetone.
