The Equestro Airbag Safety Vest with Level 2 Back Protector combines ultra-fast airbag technology with additional mechanical protection for the spine. Despite the integrated back protector, the vest remains lightweight, comfortable and allows excellent freedom of movement.

Made from high-quality elastic technical materials, it adapts comfortably to the rider’s body. The micro-perforated fabric promotes airflow and helps regulate body temperature, making the vest suitable for use in both summer and winter. Its slim fit is designed to integrate seamlessly with riding clothing while maintaining a discreet and elegant appearance.

Ultra-fast airbag system

Inspired by protective equipment used in motorcycling and skiing, the airbag system is mechanically activated and inflates within just a few milliseconds in the event of a fall, helping to protect the rider before impact.

The vest is connected to the saddle by means of a safety cable and connection strap. If the rider becomes separated from the saddle during a fall, the mechanism activates the CO₂ cartridge and rapidly inflates the airbag chamber.

Once inflated, the airbag helps protect key areas of the body, including:

• neck,
• back and spine,
• rib cage,
• chest area,
• abdomen.

After activation, the used CO₂ cartridge simply needs to be replaced with a new compatible cartridge.

Level 2 back protector included

The vest is supplied with a Level 2 back protector certified according to EN 1621-2:2014, providing additional support and protection for the spine.

The back protector is removable and can be easily taken out using the internal zip.
