The naturally sweet compounds found in liquorice are involved in the body’s biochemical regulation of water and salt balance and may help relieve spasms of the digestive tract. It naturally contains glycyrrhizin, saponins, flavonoids, glycosides and coumarin.

Ingredients: 100% cut liquorice root

Feeding instructions: large horses 20–60 g daily (600 g = up to 30 days)

small horses 10–30 g daily

1 heaped tablespoon corresponds to approximately 12 g

Feed dry as an addition to the daily ration or prepare as a decoction.
